Analysis

In the early of the onset of the sea breeze, (at land) the wind which has the same direction with constant wind shows strong velocity in diagonal ways. When time pasts, the wind with opposite direction to the constant wind shows strong velocity in diagonal direction. This phenomenon shows in turn.

Cause

When we give westerly wind as constant wind, the effect of westerly wind of sea breeze gets stronger. However, this makes the air density of land (in this graph, the middle area) gets low, because wind summed up with constant wind vector blows out the air molecules. To fill this comparatively blank space, the opposite direction of wind speed (the eastly wind in this case) increases.
