Cold air mass from the northern part came down to the south. The temperature above Busan is about -25℃.
850hPa
Low pressure with large temperature gradient exists above the Korean peninsula.
The temperature at this level around Busan is about -3℃, so the temperature difference between 500hPa and 850hPa level at Busan is about 28℃.
Surface
The upper jetstreak is acrossing the Korean peninsula, and the low pressure exists at the northeast part of the Korean peninsula. The vertical wind shear is very large. The temperature difference with 500hPa is about 32℃, which is quite large, therefore it has high instability.
